Acourt Recruitment Services Ltd. trading as Hynes Agency is strongly committed to protecting your Personal Data.

This Form has been developed to ensure you feel confident about the privacy and security of personal data and to meet our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation. Under Data Protection Law, personal data is information that identifies you as an individual or is capable of doing so.

As a company we need to collect and hold data about you to enable us to process your job application.

We wish to obtain your informed consent about the data that we may hold about you as it provides you with a better understanding of how we will use your data.

Your Rights

We shall vindicate all your rights under Data Protection Law. These rights are as follows:

  • Your right to withdraw your consent to the processing of Personal Data at any time
  • your right to request from us access to personal data and to have any incorrect personal data rectified
  • your right to the restriction of processing concerning you or to object to processing
  • your right to have your personal data transferred to another service provider
  • your right to have personal data erased (where appropriate)
  • information on the existence of automated decision-making, if any, as well as meaningful information about the logic involved, its significance and its envisaged consequences

Vindication of your rights shall not affect any rights which we may have under Data Protection Law.

If you would like your application to be examined by one of our staff, please make this clear in your application.

The Data must not be irrelevant or excessive with regard to the Agreed Purposes.

Data obtained during the recruitment process will only be kept until either your application has been declined and then destroyed within the statutory regulatory time-frames or

If a job offer is made we will retain your data only within the statutory regulatory time-frames however, a more comprehensive GDPR consent form regarding Data Sharing should be signed with your Employer.

Agreement to use my data

I hereby freely give Hynes Agency consent to use and process my personal data relating to this job application.

In giving my consent:

  • I understand that I can ask to see this data to check its accuracy at any time via a subject access request (SAR).
  • I understand that I can ask for a copy of my personal data held about me at any time, and this request is free of charge and within a thirty day time frame.
  • I understand that I can request that data that is no longer required to be held, can be removed from my file and destroyed.
  • I understand that if I am unsuccessful with my application my data will be destroyed within the statutory timeframe.
  • I understand that if I am successful with my application my data will be destroyed within the statutory timeframe and that I should enter into a Data Sharing Agreement with my Employer.
  • I understand that if I am dissatisfied with how my company uses my data I can make a complaint to the Data Protection Commissioner.
