Job Description

We are looking for a kind, caring, experienced and professional Nanny to look after three children:

1. Boy aged 10 years
2. Girl aged 6 years
3. Boy aged 20 months

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally at least three years experience in a childcare role with at least two years with the same family or employer.
• Excellent references from each position held.
• A full, clean driving licence – a Nanny car can be provided.
• Fluent English.
• Ideally a FETAC/QQI Childcare qualification up to at least level 6.
• Up to date Paediatric First Aid would be an advantage.
• Ideally someone with considerable baby and toddler experience.

DUTIES:

• Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 5.30pm with a half day on Friday.
• Supporting the three children’s development and well-being and ensure they are in a healthy and varied routine.
• Supporting the toddler’s development, plan age appropriate activities as well as sensory and physical learning to ensure he’s achieving his developmental milestones.
• School drop offs and collections.
• Assisting with and supervising homework.
• Preparing and cooking tasty and nutritious snacks and meals for the children.
• Children’s laundry and keeping children’s and general areas clean and tidy.

Approx. salary and benefits:

• Excellent Terms and Conditions.
• An hourly rate of between €20 and €25 gross per week - depending on experience.
• Provision of a Nanny car.
• Reimbursement of all out of pocket expenses.
