Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, professional, kind, caring Nanny to look after three boys aged 2, 7 and 8 years old.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ideally a minimum of three years childminding or nannying with the same family.
• Excellent references.
• Fluent English
• A full, clean driving licence and own car
• Ideally a FETAC or QQI childcare qualification up to at least level 6.
• Must be an animal lover as the family have a cat and a small dog.
• Cooking and Baking skills would be an advantage.

DUTIES:

• Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5pm
• Sole charge of the two year old boy and carrying out a variety of age appropriate indoor and outdoor activities with him to stimulate and encourage his development.
• Maintaining nap and feeding routines.
• Dropping off and collecting the older children from school, after school activities, sports and playdates.
• Supervising and assisting with homework.
• Planning and carrying out a variety of fun age appropriate activities including arts & crafts, games, puzzles, etc.
• Bringing the children to the park, on walks, to the local amenities, etc.
• Preparing tasty and nutritious snacks and meals for the children.
• Light housekeeping duties.

Approx. salary and benefits:

• €18 to €20 gross per hour
